Exterior Sidings
Types We Clean
Because it is an exterior product, your house siding can accumulate a host of dirt, grime, and stains on account of things like pollen, birds and insect droppings, spider webs, and rust. In shady, moist areas, mold and mildew can grow, and some siding materials are also vulnerable to discoloring effects from insecticides, herbicides, and fertilizers.
Clean Coastal Living is the preeminent professionals in Southeast Georgia and Southeast South Carolina when it comes to cleaning your home’s exterior surfaces, our cleaning technicians are experienced in restoring your siding regardless of material style.
VARIOUS TYPES OF SIDES
Fiber Cement Siding
Fiber cement siding is a building material used to cover the exterior of a building in both commercial and domestic applications. Fiber cement is a composite material made of cement reinforced with cellulose fibers.
Tabby Shell Stucco Siding
Tabby is a type of concrete made by burning oyster shells to create lime, then mixing it with water, sand, ash, and broken oyster shells.
Stucco Siding
Stucco siding is a siding material made of Portland cement, sand, lime, and water. Applied in three coats over a lath base, it provides a solid, durable, and seamless home exterior. Some advantages of stucco include a natural resistance to fire, lasting durability, and low maintenance.
Brick Siding
Brick siding provides the same low maintenance and weather-resistance as a solid brick. Traditional brick siding uses standard clay bricks, but instead of full-size construction brick, called engineer brick, siding usually consists of queen brick, which is about 3/4 inch narrower than engineer brick
Engineered Wood Siding
Engineered wood, also called mass timber, composite wood, man-made wood, or manufactured board, includes a range of derivative wood products which are manufactured by binding or fixing the strands, particles, fibers, or veneers or boards of wood, together with adhesives, or other methods of fixation to form a composite material.
Vinyl Siding
Vinyl siding is primarily composed of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and the manufacturing process produces greenhouse gases such as nitrogen oxide and carcinogens including dioxin.
